(Economic Chamber of the Ivorian Community in the United States)
The Ivorian community has been a vital part of the United States since the 18th century. The predominantly African immigrants have settled in various parts of Atlanta, Chicago, and Boston and are productive members of the U.S. economy. However, the community is also plagued with poverty, disability, and diseases such as HIV and AIDS.
CECI-USA (Economic Chamber of the Ivorian Community in the United States) was formed to organize events and assist the entire populations of Ivorian in the country. The goal was to strengthen the Ivorian community by providing jobs and acknowledging their contributions to the U.S. economy. CECI-USA is also responsible to represent the commercial and social interest of the Ivorian people and to expand economic opportunities and improve the healthcare system that is available to them
DIDEPAS has become a key member of the Economic Chamber of the Ivorian Community in the United States. Working with CECI-USA, DIDEPAS is striving to expand access to preventive care, health treatments, and medicine for the Ivorian especially the disabled member of the community. DIDEPAS, with the help of CECI-USA aims to create beneficial economic and social impact by helping the Ivorian community in the U.S. have access to the same health, economic, and financial assistance as any other citizen in the country!
