Adults and children with disabilities are more susceptible to various preventable health problems. They often suffer from poor health and decreased quality of life due to secondary conditions that can occur as a result of having a disability such as depression, chronic pain, obesity, and fatigue.
What makes it worse is that these people experience a range of systemic, physical, and programmatic barriers when it comes to receiving good health care as well as a lack of proper healthcare for disabled persons. Most health disparities and secondary conditions are a direct result of inaccessible health care services and equipment, transportation difficulties, lack of knowledge of various disabilities among health professionals, and communication barriers between health professionals and differently-abled persons. At DIDEPAS, we count on your donations and the efforts of our amazing volunteers to counter these issues and ensure proper healthcare for the disabled.
Obtaining and maintaining quality health care and health insurance coverage for the differently-abled is a critical issue in the United States. Over 30% of the people with disabilities in the country have no Medicare or Medicaid coverage. With a high poverty rate among people with disabilities, getting private insurance is also out of the question.
So, what's the solution?
At Disability Inclusive Development Programs And Services, we work with various non-profit organizations and disability awareness groups to ensure access to proper healthcare for all persons with disabilities. From assisting with obtaining medical insurance and finding the right equipment for their disability, to helping them get access to proper health care facilities and reducing barriers to quality care, the DIDEPAS team is dedicated to fulfilling the unmet needs of the differently-abled.

We also host fundraising events and awareness campaigns to encourage people to donate funds that can be utilized to provide financial and medical assistance to people with disabilities. Our aim is to make the lives of people with disabilities easier and help them overcome the barrier sot good health care.
Everyone deserves to live a happy and healthy life regardless of their physical, mental, and financial limitations. Our long-term goal is to revolutionize the healthcare industry to ensure full inclusion of the healthcare needs faced by adults and children with disabilities.
